Sri Lankan premium ginger-mixed sugarcane jaggery from the Uva province is a type of unrefined sugar that is made from a mixture of sugarcane juice and ginger. It is produced in the Uva province and other regions of Sri Lanka, and is made by boiling down the mixture of sugarcane juice and ginger until it thickens and crystallizes, and then molding it into blocks or balls and allowing it to cool and solidify.
This type of jaggery is made without the addition of any chemicals, making it a natural and pure form of sugar. It is known for its unique flavor, which combines the rich, caramel-like taste of sugarcane jaggery with the spicy, aromatic flavor of ginger.
